About Danken

Danken Construction Engineering Group is comprised of engineers and other professionals who provide the maximum value in quality, timeliness, and cost-effective construction management and inspection services. As a full-service construction engineering firm, Danken offers our clients leading expertise and a proven, cost-effective team each time to deliver public works improvement projects. Moreover, Danken fully understands how to serve clients as an extension of their staff, providing expert management and inspection services at a reasonable cost and keeping our clients informed throughout each stage of the project. Danken has extensive experience representing local agencies on a multitude of public works assignments in key roles as project manager, resident engineer, structures representative, and civil/structure construction inspector.

Our key personnel include registered civil engineers and highly qualified inspectors, many of whom have worked for local and state agencies before joining Danken. Scott, the principal construction manager for Danken, also worked for Caltrans Office of Structure Construction in Districts 7, 8, and 12.

We specialize in bridge construction management and inspection, and are proficient with Caltrans Standards and guidelines for both structural design and construction, American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA) Standards, Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (Greenbook), as well as City and County Standards. Danken also specializes in contract documentation for Caltrans Local Assistance projects and is experienced with FHWA and Caltrans auditing procedures.
